Backports textures from modern Minecraft to 1.2.5 and older.

The "No Mojang" version doesn't replace the Mojang startup logo. The size of the modern image causes <b1.8 to crash, but it doesn't show up even if downscaled.

What I haven't done

  • Compass — Impossible without mods
  • Clock — Impossible without mods
  • Water — Impossible without mods
  • Lava — Impossible without mods
  • Villagers — Quite hard, and can't be done fully without mods (contributions welcome for what is possible, though)
  • Panorama — I don't want to tie this pack to a specific version of modern Minecraft
  • Minecraft logo — Let's be real, most people probably don't want the new one
