Additions

  • A new shader-based rift renderer has been implemented
  • Bladeshroom, a sharp farmable fungus that can be harvested for throwable weapons
  • Shadowroot and Dark Willow ladders
  • Add crystal glass (currently unobtainable)
  • Add trenchstone bricks & appropriate stair, slab and wall blocks
  • Larger dead trees can now generate in the Deceitful Bog biome
  • Add an advancements tab, to be expanded in the future

Changes

  • Compasses are now attracted to nearby rifts
  • Tenebrum armor now allows you to travel through a rift without closing it
  • Stairs, slabs, fences, fence gates and walls now have crafting recipes
  • Rifts now close when near a light source
  • Sound travels twice the distance in the midnight
  • The Crystal Spires biome occasionally features larger spires
  • Moss now generates in the Deceitful Bog biome
  • Deceitful Mud now uses a custom sound
  • Allow rifters to open doors
  • Rouxe Crystals now glow
  • Biomes now have localization

  • Fix craters spawning in wet biomes
  • Fix broken shadowroot chest particles
  • Fix grass growing underneath dark water
  • Fix rouxe crystals generating without being on a solid surface
  • Fix layer of deceitful mud beneath water-level
  • Fix dark willow trees removing grass from surrounding blocks on growth
  • Fix tools using incorrect model display in hand
  • Fix miasma not having submerged overlay
  • Fix Midnight liquids interacting oddly with other liquids
  • Fix parts of dark willow leaves decaying immediately after being grown

Additions

  • 3 new ores with their respective nuggets, items, ores and storage blocks,
  • Added shadowroot, nightstone, ebonys, nagrilite and tenebrum tools, you can progress in midnight a bit now
  • Added tenebrum armor, more soon to come
  • Suavis, a new food source found on the floors of the vigilant forest, makes you quite dizzy... It's not fertile, so be careful with your rations, cook it or you're in for a treat... I mean a trip...
  • Work in progress mob, the hunter, you can play around with it in creative
  • Pirate speak translation, yarrr

  • Restructured dark willow trees, they're much bulkier, you can make a small home in the stump
  • Giant mushrooms no longer glow on the outside of the caps, eerie!
