Simply apply a redstone signal, and watch your battery's RF accumulate. (Pulses are unnecessary - and tend to be rather laggy at scale.)

And, in the event of a mod author wanting to use this for serious business, there are configuration options available to hopefully breathe some balance into this mess, including an option to limit this feature to a few specific blocks - not that you would ever want to, right?...
