familiar magic is rewoven!
lotsa changes this time, because i'm not trying to rush them for a fest! yet. next update is probably back to that way of life though. anyway familiar magic is now a fabric mod! later on i may play around with xplat stuff, but fabric is the plan. on to the changes! only listing the big ones here.
- Added another use of Summoning Tables, allowing you to add an additional requirement of a pattern of blocks on the floor to your summonings.
- Added curses (well, only one for the moment - a draconic sort)
- Added waterproofing to the enchantment of Enchanted Candles
- Added hat support for more of Minecraft's friendly creatures
- Withdrew all modded features on Name Tags - if you want something's True Name, just craft a Name Tag into a True Name and use it like before.
- Added an item to place Wisps of Smoke
- Changed all sounds to enable better subtitle support.
- Added support for Item Descriptions
refix

foxfix
- last time i said i made foxes more willing to summon. this time it's true
oops
- gave foxes a little more motivation to summon
- turns out neo server config isn't very cooperative these days. moved back to common
- fixed big hat worn trying to parent itself to a model that doesn't exist
- switched to using entity tag instead of an empty interface to determine if an entity is hattable
- took off the summoning table's training weights and give it full power to summon any entity, not just living
- fixed packet exploding if you try to hat a mob with a fancy hat
- fixed shadowy hats disappearing in survival and duplicating in creative when hatting/unhatting critters

pretty colors
not so flat anymore! they do taste a bit grainy though
- textures updated, by the way! that's what this update is :)
a dash of modfestive spirit
getting things showcase ready :)
- added a summoning lock to the table's inventory (there's a portal there, you can't touch that stuff!)
- gave the table a lil more juice to summon across dimensions
- carved some extra magic into the table to show you what's wrong with your candles (works best w/ a true name inserted)
- told foxes about summoning (if they see a primed summoning table and they've got fire in their mouth, they might give it a try!)
- random tiny qualitystuffs (the textures still crave attention)
- fixed client not knowing how to properly interact with summoning table inventory
Initial release!
Featuring basic summoning mechanics and a big hat! Check the description for more info on using the mod.
