About

The Minecraft dirt texture was created in 2009, over 15 years ago. The game wasn't even called Minecraft yet. And since then, the texture has never changed. Every other natural block looks so polished and pretty nowadays while dirt is still random brown noise.

So I remade it! I tried to make it fit in with the current art style while still looking as similar as possible to the original. It has 5 random pebble variants.

This pack also includes changes to all dirt-related blocks:

• Coarse dirt
• Rooted dirt
• Dirt path
• Grass block side
• Snowy grass block side
• Podzol
• Mycelium side
• Farmland

The randomized textures are done with vanilla, no Optifine or other dependencies required.
